Delifruit - Icecream!!!

This summer 2011 motivated by my blog I've met many new places, specially to taste good coffee and icecream. This time the turn was of Delifruit, a neighbourhood icecream shop located in a corner, kind of hidden, in the limit beetween Lince and San Isidro. My best friend took me to the icecream shop to spoil me a little (this term sounds porn for me but I don't know any other way to say "engreir" in english) since I looked badly injured after my bike accident. I didn't like to find out the hours of opening published in their webpage are totally different than the real ones. For example, they say in their webpage they attend from monday to saturday until 8:00 p.m. and sundays until 6:00pm. At the door we confirmed they attend from monday to sunday until 7:00 pm. The icecream was OK, not good enough for me, but still tasty. The presentation was so poor, they served us in a coffee cup to take away (3 scoops) and in the coffee cup top (2 scoops), not atractive at all. The cafeteria is really small, it doesn't invite you to stay there. But there's something positive to highlight about Delifruit, this place has winned its public, many people young and older who look from the neighbor that ask for icecream to take away. In my opinion there's still a long way for Delifruit to become a recognized icecream shop or cafe, but GO!. The advertisment and the webpage is really well done without considering the incorrect info about opening hours.

Here the photos (post accident)

San Antonio - Coffee, sandwichs, icreams and more

Someday  I read in trip advisor that San Antonio was considering the best cafeteria in Lima. I still have my doubts but don't missundestand me, the flavor is unique and the service is so good. Is just that I know so many Cafés in Lima that is so difficult for me to decide for one of them. However, San Antonio is my mother's favorite. Their icecream are too sweet but stil delicious, the sandwiches instead are kind of light, not so greassy as in another cafeterias.  San Antonio  is more like a family place, my mother allways remindes me when we lived in Magdalena and we went to the backery San Antonio, yeap it is also a backery shop but not an urban backery shop, but an exclusive one. They also sell a great variety of chocolates made by themselves. When I go there I have like a family feeling but I still don't find  anything that make that place spectacular for me. San Antonio is a chain of backery shop and cafés, all are very similar and the public look elitist. I went to San Antonio of Magdalena and another in San Isidro, they both are quiet not like other cafeterias you enter and hear everybody's talk, it absolutely happens at any San Antonio. They seem to care their atmopshere so much. I was taking photos and an employee told me it was prohibited after I took a few. I understand they said that becaude of their customers.

Here the photos I took with my brother's camera:
